What I find even better is the reviews on amazon for the single.

Hey, I bet that when you all heard that song for the first time, it didn't even dawn on you that the DJ's who composed and remixed this tune are two nice Russian boyz, representin' the motherland. ppk has existed since 1998, and in that time they managed to climb on top of all British dance charts, not to mention the ones in Russia...
have fun!!!!!

This is one of the best instrumentals in years. If you like Jean Michael Jarre you'll love this!

This is a very cool instrumental trance track. An awesome song to blaze on your car or truck's system. It sounds very spacey, like some kind of alien communication straight from the Milky Way. It's loaded with all kinds of different synth sounds, xylophone-esque blips, and tight basslines. For DJ's out there, this track would be really great to layer some silky female vocals over! You can find this on many trance/dance compilations. If you're from my area you can check it out on Special K & DJ Burnz' "Invasion" @ Tunz. I highly recommend this song to anyone that likes great instrumentals. If my review was helpful to you, then please don't forget to vote. THANKS!

Alright after my last post I was just checking and I found this pretty funny
More amazon.com reviews (DJ Sammy)

Heaven to listen to, November 19, 2002
Reviewer: Erica from Sarasota, FL
I admittedly purchased the entire album just for "Heaven" and the first few times I listened to this album, skipped around a bit only to come back to "Heaven." However, after I forced myself to listen to it once, I fell in love with this album - it's been in my car since August (but yes, I do swap it out with other albums). "Heaven," the title track is very catchy, as is "Sunlight." DJ Sammy's remakes of "The Boys of Summer" by Don Henley, "California Dreaming" by the Mamas and the Papas, and "El Condor Pasa" by Simon & Garfunkel actually sound good, and it's always fun for a first time listener to recognize the lyrics and smile. Unlike many techno/trance albums, the vocals aren't "cheesy" and the songs written by DJ Sammy have decent lyrics. All in all though, the album has really nice, upbeat music and seems to please just about everyone.

Im really scared by this. When she states that DJ Sammy techno/trance is not cheesy!

Really Awesome, May 28, 2003

I bought this cd mainly for the song "Heaven," but after I ran through the whole cd I was pleasantly surprised to find that many of the other songs on this album are great too.

1.California Dreamin' ~ I think this is a great song, and an awesome remake. It's got a good beat and lyrics. 5/5

2.Heaven ~ One of my favorites on this album, it's sung with a beautiful voice and great lyrics. 5/5

3.Sunlight ~ I liked this song also, it's soothing and pretty, even as it changes speeds frequently. 4/5

4.The Boys Of Summer ~ This is an awesome song with good lyrics and a catchy tune. 5/5

5.El Condor Pasa ~ This is a fairly good song, as soon as I got over the shock of how... alienated the voice sounded you can enjoy the nice beat. 3/5

6.Beautiful Smile ~ This is another one of my favorite songs, in a way to me it sounded a little, unwordly- in a good way, and the voice singing it is indeed very pretty also =)
5/5

7.Unbreakable ~ This song was ok, usually one I would skip over, at the beginning a little boring and I couldn't understand the lyrics at first, after that the words sort of blended together and I couldn't understand what she was singing at all, but it does have a fairly pretty sound... 2/5

8.Paradise Of Love ~ This song has a catchy tune but it could use some more lyrics to keep you interested, I went through the whole song wondering whether or not it would have more words then "Paradise of love", and aparently it doesn't but if you enjoy that sort of thing you would most likely enjoy this. 2/5

9.Vive El Presente ~ That same alien voice again, but it sounds good in this song actually =) This song has a catchy tune and I really liked it =) Though it again doesn't have many lyrics, the quicker beat keeps you away from the fast forward button. 4/5

10.Take Me Back To Heaven ~ I didn't like this song very much, it sounded weird, I coudn't understand most of the lyrics, and it just sounded a little... darker then the rest of the songs if you know what I mean, which is surprising by the name. 2/5

11.Sunchild ~ A quick beat, this song was ok, not one of my favorites but not relatively bad. I don't know how many (if it had any) lyrics, because I didn't have the patience to listen through the whole song. It gets a little boring but as I said, its ok. 3/5

12.Sunlight(Bossa Nova Vibes) ~ This song is ok, before the lyrics at the very beginning it would work as a carpet or bed commercial, I actually didn't like it as much as track three, probably because even through the rest of the song it has that same feel to it, and the piano and the new beat sort of ruins it... 1/5

13.Heaven(Candlelight Mix) ~ This song was really good, the original heaven was better I think, it was faster but the candlelight mix is very pretty too, with new lyrics and the piano sounds good with it. 4/5

This guy seams to love the cd with his rattings then says that he didnt even finnish most of the songs.

It is OK, May 12, 2003
Reviewer: A music fan from Michigan, USA
I fell in love with DJ Sammy's remake of the classic song "Heaven" by Bryan Adams. I loved when it would come on the radio, when they played it at school dances, or even heard it in the store. I then bought the CD, and I think it is decent... and could have been a little better.

1. -California Dreamin'- 4/5
I felt this song was a pretty good remake, and a pretty good song to start the CD off.

2. -Heaven- 5/5
This song is by far the best song on the album. Very awesome remake of a classic, and Do's voice is beautiful! I really love the Music Video too!

3. -Sunlight- 4/5
This song is really nice and relaxing, and I enjoy listening to it!

4. -The Boys Of Summer- 4/5
This song took a little for me to get use to, I really did not like it at first. I still hear the original on the radio all the time, and think it was a pretty nice remake.

5. -El Condor Pasa- 3/5
This song kind of has a "tribal" feel to it. I like some of the beats... but a lot of it is a little to... uh... "primitive" in a way.

6. -Beautiful Smile- 2/5
I really did not enjoy this song. Many of the verses remind me of a fairy tail my parents use to read to me when I was younger.

7. -Unbreakable- 3/5
This is really just a normal trance/dance song you find in the club.

8. -Paradise Of Love- 3/5
This song does have a nice paradise/ocean feel to it, and is soothing.

9. -Vive El Presente- 3/5
I totaly do not like the lyrics in this song, nor the person singing it. The voice kind of scares me, and its just... scary. Once you get past that however, there are some nice beats.

10. -Take Me Back To Heaven- 3/5
I think this song kind of has an early 80's maybe 90's feel to it... especially with the singing. Some of the beats are okay.

11. -Sunchild- 2/5
I do not like this song, and it makes me think of masked people running around a fire, preforming voo-doo.

12. -Sunlight (Bossa Nova Vibes)- 1/5
This is a horrible remix, the whole jaz
z theme is just horrible. I can not even make it through the entire song.

13. -Heaven (Candlelight Mix)- 5/5
This is a beautiful slow version of Heaven, sang by Do. She really makes it beautiful, and it is perfect for someone special, and even at a Wedding.

Overall, this CD was okay. I would however recommend DJ Encore Feat. Engelina "Intuition" either in addition to, or instead of DJ Sammy's CD. I loved almost every single track on DJ Encore's CD, and Engelina has a very beautiful voice, and doesn't make it sound warped/weird as Yanou does. I would def. give it a listen.

Total Score: 42/65

This person is just fu*ked
