Hello... I'm the new kid (as my number of posts clearly show). I'll be one to admit trance is no where near my #1 genre of choice... but there are a few elite trance dj's who make that dislike of most trance go away completely... and AVB is sertinaly one of them (espicaly after his set at twisted 2003). I'm considering coming over from the island for AVB this friday... but no one I know from the island is going over... I was thinking my last chance would be to meet up with you guys, meet a few people, then get my party on. So reading along on this meetup... i'd love to join you all durring this.

So... just to confirm... the irish setter on carrall street at 7pm? Count me in... once i'm off the boat (probably 5pm boat) i'll get there ASAP... probably arrive just after 7:15 or so... but i'll look for a large group and then do introductions.

the first people that show up, and get whatever huge table, leave a note with the servers that you are the "tranceaddict" group, so the people who dont know anyone, wont have to wander around and try to find us..

ill prolly be there early, since ill leave early so i dont get stuck at the border and be late like last friday

Tried calling him a couple of times today but got no answer, so I left a message and will be calling back tomorrow to confirm.

Well looks like things are shaping up like they did in Calgary. His manager will call like absolute last minute, but they'll come with some sort of goodies (we got promo vinyl). Also if it's not too late, someone should call the resturant and get a party reservation, that's what I did and because we had a VIP with us, we had our own section, it was nice. Have a fun time, and make sure to tell Armin that the guys in Calgary say Ja (pronounced yah)

keep in mind, you're not only paying for yourself by for armin as well and sean said this is a bit of a pricey place

I'll do an official role-call thread on Thursday sometime. I'll be making reservations, as the Irish Heather is a very popular pup in gastown. I know the management of the place so it won't be a problem, but if 30 people just happen to show up we may not all be accomodated. For the time being, add your name to the list if you'll be attending so I can get a general idea.
