This, my friend, is, has always been, and always will be true. Looks are immensely important, in even the most seemingly insignificant daily occurences.

This however, I will certainly disagree with. Surely, it's purely an opinion, but it's as true a statement as you wish to make it. It's sorta like that saying 'if you think you'll fail, then you will fail.'

Will all due respect, m'dear, I can't help but laugh at this.   It just goes to show how weak and pathetic some guys (and if you want to make this unisex, 'and girls') really are. (Not you in specific!) We've obviously all been bombarded enough with images of perfection by the media, but come on...  At the end of the day it's you who makes anything final in terms of what you believe, think, do, etc. (This is not to be taken personally. You're a nice person.  )
