Great night, I like the refurbishments. More room. Cooler and the sound system sent shockwaves through the floor. Atleast when bond played clocks at the end.

Main room and foyer were cool .. upstairs there was some kinda of heat wave going on

Dont know about the refurbs tbh .. lack of bottle bins meant that bottles and drinks were scattered everywhere .. and I can envisage those mdf speaker surrounds getting soggy sooner or later

Besides that twas all good .. drinks were a bit expensive .. toilets were fooked but I hear that thats old news ..

Quality night. PVD was awesome the best set I heard from him this year. Wasn't as hot as before in the main room which was good. Loads of tunes played. Spoke to loads of people but no one from TA. The new spotlights were good but the laser was shite. Worth the money but compared to the clubs in cardiff it always is.

ahh frig, i didnt go.... as im sure you noticed. still, no biggie i ended up going to bed to see audio bullies, so it wasnt all loss

Solar Stone = Very Very good, better than last time
Paul van Dyk = Amazing played 3 piss poor track before traffic....including that new operation blade tune....fucking dog wank, but 3 shit afwul tunes in 3 hours is top.
Marco V = Fucking shite....played like 5 crap tunes and brought me right down after pvd...totally killed the room, I went to the funky room mid way through his wank set
Bond & Hardwick = bit of a let down....no flow just random trance tunes......last years b2b pissed all over it tbh.

Ur entirely entitled to ur opinion as am I, therefore I will give my reasoning behind my previous statement. Casselle = funky house dj, but I spose gc have to include him cos they are trying to expand there musical range to attract more punters from across the genres of 'dance' music. Pvd did 3hrs, u cannot play uplifter after epic uplifter, u complained at the b2b set as it was just 'random trance' - yet u complain also about pvd's set being structure. Just a slight contradiction I think! Pvd may have a few dodgy tunes eg. time of our lives, NBY and the new order confusion techno remix - but unfortunately he was not put on this earth to play wot u want. But obviously u can find exactly wot u want to hear in the funky house room, so does that make u as clueless as myself? This is what distinguishes his dj'ing style from the crowd pleasing dj's like pearce, tiesto and such like. I am afraid u'll be hard put to find a dj that plays exactly wot u want. Tbh I cannot be assed to rant any more, I couldn't give a shit whether u had a good nite or not - I thought it was excellent!
