I understand what you're saying Eric, but you're wrong in saying that I'm "basing my opinion of them from a message board" - I told you, I've met those people, several times.

But if people talk shit - especially people like those two, posting threats to me in the thread - it doesn't matter what medium they use to say it on. And I think this is your problem too, man - you seem to think that just because someone is saying it on the 'net, it gives them license to say whatever they want. I honestly don't understand the "it's a message board" attitude and probably never will, perhaps that's because when I think of TOTA I'm thinking of people I know closely, and when you're thinking of it, you're thinking of people you've never met and never will. I think the "it's just a forum" attitude is basically a copout people use when they piss off other people in the community.

You're free to believe that anything you (or they) say is okay because it's on a message board, but I don't happen to agree with you. They posted a lot of offensive remarks, and just because they didn't say it to our faces did not make them any less offensive.

If your attitude in person is different from how it is on the forum, then good for you. I'd like to point out, however, that you are doing exactly what you are criticizing me for doing, i.e. making assumptions about me on a message board without ever having met me or knowing anything about me.
