Directions to WEMF 2001 from Toronto
>From Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto (Queen and Bay):
Take Queen Street West to University Avenue
Turn Right on University and travel South to Lakeshore Avenue
Turn Left on Lakeshore Avenue and enter the Eastbound Gardiner Expressway
Take the Eastbound Gardiner Expressway to The Don Valley Parkway (DVP)
Travel North on the DVP to Highway 401 East
Take Highway 401 East through Toronto (Just Past Bowmanville)
Exit the 401E at 115 North
Travel up the 115 North a short distance and you will see a group of restaurants and gas stations on your right hand side. The first restaurant is McDonald's, followed by a Country Time Donut shop and a Petro-Canada Gas Station. In the area between the Country Time Donuts and the Petro-Canada Gas Station there will be a representative of WEMF2001 handing out maps for the final part of the journey to the venue. Maps will be available beginning at 10 AM on Friday, July 20, 2001 and will continue to be handed out throughout the day and evening ( until approx 9pm).
If you plan on leaving later in the day, full directions to the venue will be posted on this website and available on our infoline at 6pm, Friday, July 20, 2001. These directions will be direct and will no longer require the need to stop for a map.
If you are travelling to WEMF 2001 from:
Niagara Falls/Ft Erie
Take the QEW Highway East to Highway 427 North
Take the 427 North to Highway 401 East
Take Highway 401 East through Toronto (Just Past Bowmanville)
