Have you ever been to Hotel Boutique or This is London? Those are some of the fakest people around. Lotus didn't too well because the location is too far away from the rest of the clubs I think. Well most clubs around here already have a loyal clinetel... Myself for example, I am a regular at System, I go there because they have great music, most of the time the people are great, and like the cheers song says "were everybody knows your name"
If a new club wants to survive these days they need and edge, or at least go all out... The people don't want to come to you, so make them come... Pulse should throw out some big names, get Picatto, Collins, Oakenfold... Show us that you've got what we want...
