Not a 12.5 sec car with that guy driving. Either way, the race was close, and you can clearly see me clock in before the STI. Thats enough said on my part.
Sorry to get all pissy with u guys, I guess I get carried away when it comes to cars, and its boring winter.

I don't remember. It was weak though for sure. Mostly, I took him off the line hella, and he had to play catchup.
But you gotta admit, 13.8 on a stock engine with 6.5psi is not bad at all. The best part is, I paid $4500 for the car.

Would make more sense if that was a LS1 corvette not the Z06 as they are 13 second cars although I cant tell in the dark.

I heard the guy talking while we were waiting in the staging lanes.
Well anyways, I'm done posting here. I'm all posted out.

I've found that there are a lot of people that own "fast" cars that don't know how to drive them. Occasionally these people show up at the track and spend the first 3 seconds of thier run roasting the tires at the launch pad. The '03 Cobra I ran against pulled something like a 3.5 short time. Some people just have to learn the hard way that traction on the strip isn't like traction on the street. He did eventually get better, by the end of the night he was running 13.8's.
The quicker the car is the worse effect a "bad" driver seems to have on the ET.
For instance I've seen:
SRT-4 run high 14's
Evo VIII run low 14's
WRX STi run low 14's
Cobra run high 13's
Viper run low 13's
Also for someone that talks alot of smack about other people's cars here, you've never mentioned what you drive.

1/4 mile tracks are all basically the same. Road Course/AutoX tracks vary alot in length, number and difficulty of turns, hills, etc... That makes comparing cars based on the lap times at the local track useless. I might get a 35 second best lap at the AutoX track local to me that is simple and short; how do we compare that number to someone who's local track is longer and more complex and he runs a 58 second best lap? Unless the two cars are run on the same track it just doesn't work.

Within this thread you have all acknowledged that you are racing people who cant drive, yet you all talk shit about the cars - not the drivers| |
Show me where I have criticized a particular car. All I have said is alot of V8 powered cars are not as fast as alot of people think they are, and that the "factory" cars that are truly fast often have drivers that are not. This is not conjecture, this is my observation.
