Ahahahaha, Vandit screwed up the pressing versus the labeling! You'd think that having so much time on their hands they would get the fu©king tracklist right. Lazy, lazy Vandit!

Labeling/pressing problems aside, excellent productions, all three of them. I'm surprised that after hearing Introspection so much I'm listening to the vinyl repeatedly; the hallmark of a good production.

But hey, at least Vandit is releasing stuff now, even if they can't label them right.

What label and sleeve say on my record:

A1. Introspection (Original)
A2. Return To Innocence (Mr Sam's Tears In Heaven Interpretation)
----
B1. Introspection (John Askew Mix)

What's on the record (A/B corresponding with logo/text sides and the vinyl etched letters):

A1. Introspection (Original)
----
B1. Return To Innocence (Mr Sam's Tears In Heaven Interpretation)
B2. Introspection (John Askew Mix)

The label implies that the John Askew remix is on its own (meaning 45 rpm), when it's the original that's by itself (at 45 rpm).

Yup - they fucked up the tracklist... all recent vandit releases had one track on the A-Side and two on the B-Side... it's the same here, but the tracklist is wrong. A2 = B1 und B1 = B2

How any record label can make mistakes like this is pure stupidity and very lazy indeed. Not only do we wait about a year for it to come out but when it does, the labelling is wrong.

If Vandit dont even know which mix is what then how is the customer out there meant to know. Is everyone supposed to know that Askew bassline sound like most of us do?

heh, werd for that. A friend of mine was like 'this is the john askew remix' and he was playing the original. I spent like an hour convincing him otherwise.

I just recently got a copy of Introspection as well, not only was one side a terrible press, ya, the labeling was wrong, I knew it right away, I was a little bit disapointed yes, but it still renders a great single, and with a lil EQ tweaking in a live situation, it can really get the ppl moving, I see myself playing out the original more than the Askew remix at this point in time.
