Pio, I really don't see why you made that original comment. It was very harsh and extremely uncalled for. I think Mike's mixing sucks too, but ffs, he is spending tons of time producing great tracks, while going to highschool, and he is only 17 and hasn't been spinning very long!
Whatever, let's get back on topic, shall we? |
not taking offence to this particular post - (because hes obviously my webmaster and good friend)
if anyone wanted to know....
<
my mixing isnt what it used to be a few years ago when noone knew who i was...oh well, i suppose i should give up my 2 hour time slot to Tyler M ...??
btw..my most recent set was the Trancesphere birthday bash......was it really that bad?????
o well, also relating to mixing.....people shouldnt expect a pro tools quality mix/ set from a DJ every time he/she spins...its something we all posess called "human flaw" ..keep that in mind next time you are listening to someone mix ...

I imagine it was pretty shallow three years ago, but I'd hardly say that now. Considering how far every other genre has come in the last three years, it's unfair to say that prog hasn't evolved in much the same way. I have started listening to prog only recently, but I'm perfectly capable of seeing a genre of music for what it is after a short while, so I dont think I'll be "growing out" of it any time soon.

and im sorry, but:
...makes no sence, a dj is for a club, if you want something to listen to at home you get someone to compose something. |

I think it makes perfect sense. I personally would find prog fairly hard to dance to in a club because it's slow, but I find it relaxing to listen to while at home working (or whatever).
