don't forget pulp fiction. a lot of the older movies that revolutionized film in both hollywood and non-hollywood alike.

atomic cafe
el mariarchi
ararat (released recently)
momento
citizen kane
clockwork orange
rocky horror picture show
magnolia (also fairly recent)
cleo from 5 to 7

list goes on and on...all those mentioned above are very artsy and revolutionary for their time.

some off the top of my head.

I can imagine! I was so glad I didn't do drugs after I had seen that movie, then I didn't at least have that movie haunting me...

what i noticed in the difference btwn directors cut and the edited one is that the directors cut is ALOT more graphic. though the edited one gets the message across the DC is alot more profound b/c of the graphic nature. but then again, i may have noticed more things in the directors cut b/c i saw that after i watched the edited one and u know how u usually tend to notice details when watching movies more than once...

2 things (scenes) i noticed that were alot more graphic in the directors cut but im not gonna mention them cuz i dont want to spoil it lol...

The only differences were in the grahic last scenes, where the whole movie comes together. It's too bad that Brad Pitt walked off the set of Aronofsky's next movie cause it was supposed to be another mindblower...
