all of you complaining about the us "policing" the world should shut up. especially those of you from Europe, i seem to remember a time not so long ago when practically every part of the 3rd world was governed by a european power. if anything what america does isn't that bad...we aren't installing physical governments in those places, but trying to end oppressive leadership.

I'm not sure where you are going with you're response to my post, if anything, you're proving my point that ppl stand by their party no matter what, that's why Ralph doesn't have a chance. The original question posed was why do half of America still support Bush. My answer is half of americans are Republicans and they're aren't going to vote for a Democrat no matter how bad Bush performs.

People who don't recognize Bush for the moron that he is disturb me in a very profound sense. While I agree with some of his policies, having a totally inept individual for a leader is just not acceptable. I do not trust his judgment in critical situations, nor should I, given how difficult he finds it to string a couple of sentences together without embarassing himself.

There are other Republicans I would consider voting for. Bush, however, I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.

Thumbs up

Being Canadian, I tend to follow US politics very loosely. However, from what I do hear/read of, I like Bush. The thing I like is, when there is "evil" (Saddam) he's got the balls to get the job done (in this case, ousting him).

People complain that he's just continuing the cycle of the hate infested Muslim middle east, but hey... ************ of Bush's actions, the middle east is going to be a danger zone.

Though, I'm not sure where he stands on domestic issues and his success in that area...

i love the way the government reclassified fast food jobs as manufacuring jobs in order to bloat those figures. and orbax if you pay 250,000 in taxes im sure your father makes a ton if he pays that much annually, no? anyway i feel sorry for bush. i think hed rather just be in crawford, texas on his ranch. too bad poor ralph doesnt have a chance, because i heard some of the things he wants to do and they sounded pretty good to me. it sucks that people would only vote for their party no matter how poorly it performs. whatever happened to the whigs?

I think that year he grossed 650,000. 250,000 is a big ass chunk of that. Imagine what you would do with an extra 250,000 a year.
