Love Poundin' Sensation

I think this one of the best mix cd's I have heard. Absolutely quality from the beginning till the end... love it to bits.

The mash-up between tracks 3 and 4 (Petter an UNKLE) is just f*cking divine!

I don't really get what that Felix Da Housecat tune is doing in the mix though. Very nice rework, but it doesn't really fit into the rest of the cd, and that doesn't do the remake the justice it would get in the 'right' context...

I really like it in this mix though. By the time Burma is running out you've been throughly spaced out, then that that bassline of it kicks in and brings you back with a nice little pace change. Maybe thats just me though, I guess some folks would have liked for the trippy, deep stuff to finish things out.

Btw does anyone know if Sasha mixed this himself live? I'm guessing it was just done in ProTools.

rickster2kuk: Why did you only choose 1 cd for ‘Involver’ rather than the traditional two mix CDs?
Sasha: Because it wasn’t really a traditional mix CD. The fact that I was remixing every track on there meant that it was 3 to 6 months work. A double CD would take too long, I don’t want to be away from the road for that long. I do plan on following up on it with a 2nd one very soon though, am putting together a tracklisting now.

ive read a few responses that question the existence of felix da housecat's song... here is what i thought

when i first heard the cd, i thought it was a flawless ride and when that ride was broken by the felix da housecat song, i too was wondering why the hell it was there. but upon many many more listens, as this is my favorite thing to listen to right now, i am really, really enjoying the felix song. its a hot track, especially once it gets going but as for the cd, i think sasha may have put it in because he too thought it was hot

but really, im thinking its there too make the final track stand alone... as that is a great finish to a great cd. basically, i have no issues with this track being on this cd anymore, because i enjoy blasting the hell out of the song!
