Yeah, Brazil - France was a slight dissapointment. Brazil played like shit most of the game, though they did get a few chances. It sucks that they never really care about the game unless it's a World Cup when they beat everyone.

Back to the Euro now. I can't believe people are voting for Germany soo much. IMHO this team isn't all that good. IMHO, their appearance in the final of WC 2002 was a fluke(they didn't beat even one good team) and they don't have any real super stars now. Ballack is allright, but France, for instance, got at least 3 players who are better than Ballack. Though German discipline is to be admired, I don't think it will be a enough to win this year's Euro, filled with many amazing players.

wtf is up with germany leading the polls ... rudi voller himself admitted he would not be surprised if germany got knocked out in the first round ... although id like england or spain to go all the way i think england fuct up big time by selecting the likes of heskey, ledley king, dyer over parker, defoe and smith ... but id have to play it safe and pick france ... henry , viera , pires , trezeguet , boumsong , saha and players like malbranque and rebert dont even make the squad... i cant imagine anyone beating this team. Dont count the czech republic out either , they got a fantastic team and not counting the last game they had a good unbeaten run of around 2 years i think ...

i think italian fans are just as bad (if not worse) only difference is the azzuri fans riot inside the stadiums

I also just noticed how you rolled your eyes at the English hooliganism. I don't know if you watched the news but after one match the ENGLISH fans went out and fucking destroyed a few things. I'll try and find the article on that one.
And English hooligans are the worst kind of hooligans that exist. They go out and ransack places, cause fights with the locals. Yes they are scum. And yes, i totally agree on limiting the amount of English fans that come through the borders.

Ok fine, so Belgium/Holland isn't home turf for the French. But it's sure friendlier soil for them than it is for the English and certainly for the Germans (nobody in Europe likes them).

As for hooliganism, you cannot blame English fans for it. It is a PHENOMENON that is world wide. It happens in South America and Asia, as well as Africa all the time, but there's hardly any press about it. For the most part, there have been few serious incidents with English fans since the 1980s. The British police know who most of them are and they are banned from crossing over to the continent. And don't fucking call them fans either...because they're not. They just go for the violence and please don't be so ignorant to think that this is a large number of people we're talking about! 9,999 out of 10,000 English fans are nice people...I've actually BEEN to an England game before. What about the Dutch cops beating innocent English fans back in Euro 2000? Or the Turkish fans spitting at all the English players as they came onto the field for a qualifying match? Every nation has their hooligans...don't put the blame on England alone...that's just stupid.

I am cheering for the Czech, hope to see them give the Dutch and Germans a good beating . I also like the Italians, so hope they do well too.

I don't understand the fuss about the German team, they used to be great to watch in the past, but these days they are just boring ( still cheered for them in 2002 final
