Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I'm new around here.
I was at the show too. I had seen PVD in April, then Armin in May, and just had to go see Mr. #1 when I found out he was going to be at Vision.
I was sort of disapointed by the entire show. I remember looking over the dancefloor at one point while Gary and Dimitri were up, and 95% of the people on the floor were just standing around. When Tiesto finally came out that changed very quickly, but over the course of the night his selections weren't that great.
I think that was a big factor in it cause Jerry Bonham had me and my buddy dancing our asses off before PVD got up, and when I took my girl to see Armin, we danced the entire time Mazi was on. I think we danced from the time Mazi came out, 11:00pm or so, till nearly the end of Armin's set.
Tiesto didn't seem to be that interested in the crowd either. It was like he was having his own little party in the booth for most of the night. PVD and Armin were very focused on the crowd for most of the night, and had better sets as far as I was concerned.
I'm not saying I didn't like it cause I still had a very good time, but maybe I just set my expectations a little too high as someone else mentioned.
I was pretty stoked about managing to get his autograph after waiting behind the booth for nearly 45 minutes though.
