I believe that many hard trance tracks have a hardstyle influence. Some have less or no hardstyle influence (dumonde, cosmic gate). Or theres some hard trance artists with a fair bit of hardstyle influence, but maybe not enough to be considered 'hardstyle' (like scott project, hennes & cold, maybe derb) and then theres pure hardstyle (Lady Dana, Luna, etc).
Warmduscher, perhaps even Derb and similar artists id say would fit pretty much straight in the middle and contain a heavy influence of both hard trance and hardstyle.

Actually, they were. Under their solo monikers Jam X and De Leon (which is a bit of a misnomer since De Leon always produced tracks with Jam X for a Jam X release and vice versa) they released many hard trance tracks on Chaos Recs. back in the late 90s. Check:

Also, their recent collaborations with Sebastian Ostermann resulted in No Faces - No Time No Space/Free Your Feelings and You Know What/I Can Fly, which are also on the hard trance tip (although more influenced by the recent tech trance direction that hard trance has taken, i.e. Cosmic Gate - Different Concept Pt.1 & 2).

look pal... u are really annoying me... DJ Jam-X & Dominik are not hardtrance? wtf... DID YOU CHECK UP HIS OWN LABLE FATE RECORDINGS? its all hardtrance and they even say its a hardtrance label and all awhile they have been collaborating together to produce the harder style of progressive/epic/dream trance.
