the boat was amazing.
my sea legs weren't exactely what i remembered them to be, and i prolly did a bit of stumbling around. All in all, i had a great time. met more TAs. seems like every person i meet now is either a TA or a TA lurker.

Cherry beach afterwards was fun. A little scary at first with the kids and stray dogs and random people dancing in the bushes, but the nite was good. what a way to end the week

the storey behind it is even better.

so here we all are waiting for the boat to "take off" and the music is playing and everyone is having fun.

all of a sudden you hear a big bang, several girls screaming, and dead silence from the boat patrons followed by a clapping and laughing.

what actually had happened was, ray dropped the corona beer bottle on the metal deck, the bottom of the bottle hit the deck but did not tip over. with cat like reflexes ray caught the bottle on the first bounce but by that time it started to foam. so logically he tired capping the bottle with his thumb making it a perfect weapon of mass spraying (hence the girl screams, or was that arturo?). everyone stopped talking and looked in the middle of the top deck and there was ray covered with beer as shown in picture.
