Well your math is ok, but the statement is a little incorrect. It means that 1 of every 100 deaths is homicide. It does not mean 1 out of every 100 people in the US is murdered. HAHAHAHA

Well... I'm making the assumption that everybody dies (are you contesting that assumption???).

But seriously... you have to die sometime and there's a 1 in 100 chance that ur gonna go by way of homicide... so on average for every 100 people, 1 of them will get murdered.

Well.. the chances of being stabbed/shot greately depend on the neighbourhood you are in. These statistics forget to look at that.

Live in safe neighbourhoods and your chances of "survival" will be pretty damn high

Again, don't just look at the math... Certain people(those in gangs, those who live in poor neighbourhoods) have much greater chance of dying by homicide than you. Thus your chances of getting stabbed/shot are a lot lower than 0.01

And, all i hear is people bitching bitching bitching about what they dont like everytime they go to a party. So i dont think we are better for it.

the 90s were Toronto's time. Sadly the media and politicians in 2000 put an end to all that.

And it wasnt excessive because most if not all those parties were full of people. I miss the choice. Now there is one, at best 2 events per week and if you dont like the DJ or genre then you are screwed.
Unless I missed it.

Has Boa ever gotten an overall negative review in recent memory? From anyone there?

Please think before you speak. This is getting repetitive... When will the madness stop! LoL Just tweakin' a bit.

But Mr. Boa-Redux said it before and much better.

Meh it's just an average. Of course it all depends on certain factors but still... c'mon man, that was such a wonderful manipulation of statistics before you actually spoke up. Makes America look so bad.

I'm ok with that I support more $$$ foot patrols. Police patroling areas instills a sense of safety and security...just reponding to emergencies is reactive, not pro-active
