p.s. please pm me the name of the track, do not flame.

I can't remember if Ferry, or Mark Oliver played it, but you may be thinking of Yimanya, by Filter Headz..

Cool

Ok, I read TA forums all the time but have never posted before. I was at the Guv last night/this morning, however and must say that it was an awesome party. I was up near the front of KH most of the night. Ferry Corsten was just great. I've heard lots of his sets on ETS Global, but there's nothing like hearing it live with people jumping all over the place going crazy.

And yeah, in reponse to starsearcher's original message -- What was with that guy and girl who were doing the nasty on the stage? I had no idea e could do that to someone. Holy sh-t..

Anyway great music, great atmosphere, but holy f-ck they really need some air conditioning in that place. I didn't drink all that much alcohol-wise, but I swear I was ready to pass out after like 2 hours. My clothes are still wet (yeah gross I know) and I drank so much water and must have sweated out every drop -- barely a trip to the washroom all night. That can't be healthy. I'm surprised there weren't more people passed out on the floor from heat exhaustion.

Final thoughts -- I am getting way too old for this.. But man I'm going to keep doing it until just I can't anymore

I see there's already lots of pics up on LuvTheGuv..

just got back from a 12hr drive

and...

toronto was the shit .

serously, you guys know how to party lol

sander k owned me, that blur-song 2 remix was sickk, its gonna be the next matthew dekay vs beastie boys - intergalactic of this year. also that remix of smack my bitch up was insane, though he could of mixed the vocal part in, but i was way to fucked up to barely remember how it sounded like. ferry was decent, nu nrg was eh and infusion was good but sander def took the cake. did any1 else notice him mixing up visuals with the music with one of those brand new pioneer dvd players?, its like a brand new concept of djin, soon every djs gonna hafta mix up visuals as well as music..kinda weird but anyways, nice meeting all the tota's and whoever else i met.

LOL was a party! but too fockin hot for my likings, i hate having to stop dancing cause i was just overheating. MO's opening was awesome... how has nobody mentioned beasties boys track (junkie xl mix) that set the place off! My ferry highlights were punk and the flashover mixes to both sweet sorrow and its time. no one on earth too....and leaden day, and binary finary..and synsthesia...haha. Nu-NRG also wicked i think i heard connective, the eternal, altitude, for an angel....awesome. infusion, def not my taste, but you might have caught me bangin to one or two of their awesome drops. Dezoke murder was the bass followed by Marco V - Automanual followed by Carl Cox - Just Kick....... i die.....Nice seein all the ta's liked charlies too, the ac was a excellent selling point!!! good beats too.
Until Armin.

a) It usually does...
b) There's enough stupid and ugly broads that really shouldn't be dancing on them and they are
c) There's enough cat fights to get on them as I saw last night

Give girls some alchie and they go crazy - fighting over who gets to dance on stage

Sander played Blur - Song 2 on a club soundsystem and I missed it?!?!?!?! Anyway, here's my review-in-a-list.

Highlights:

  • Seeing trancEaddicts from Toronto and elsewhere for the first time in almost a year. (Also, seeing Detroit trancEaddicts in Canada, but I see them all the time since I'm from the Detroit area)
  • Seeing Nu NRG for the first time
  • Seeing Ferry and Deep Dish for the second time
  • Playing with glowsticks for the first time

Not-so-highlights:
  • My throat acting up all weekend and making me cough every time I tried to yell (!) or speak
  • The constant flow of people crossing the dancefloor and bumping into me while I was get into a set
  • The rain falling from the ceiling of the Kool Haus
  • Classes start today
