Hello, what's it called

Henry Fonda Music Box THEATRE

It is not a "CLUB" ... hence, there is no proper DJ booth.

I imagine that some type of better DJ setup will be brought it, but it still will not by any means be a DJ booth. I personally kinda dig the rugged look the whole main room has, since it reminds me of oldschool big parties thrown in gyms and stuff.

Avalon in LA is also a THEATRE, and it does not have a proper DJ booth. For Tiesto, they just had a simple table like you'd see in a cafeteria...

In the Mayan Theatre, they put the DJ way up high on a stage in like a little box mainly, but it's not a perm fixture in there, either.

At Ruby Skye here in San Francisco, there is no proper DJ booth...the DJ is either up on the stage with decks setup on a rollable cart (which is actually kinda new, it used to be setup on like boxes or bricks, too), or right on the show floor in the same rollable cart.

The Mezzanine here in SF actually has proper deck setup, with them suspended from cables, but it's not a booth either...they typically setup a stage to raise the DJ a little and just put police barriers around the DJ area...with Zabiela, they had him at floor level and it was actually awesome as the crowd could hover all around him...it felt like a huge house party / underground party.

Anyhow, my point is that those setups are not uncommon, especially these days in large venues as they tend not to be DJ-exclusive type of places and need to be able to host bands and other live shows.

fo real though. Most setups on stage are the same exact thing except they have a cloth over the plywood and bricks.

those green lights were kick ass though

LOL that setup is pretty ghetto.. but I kinda like it. Gives it an "underground" look & feel.

But pizza boxes and milk crates would totally RULE!!!
