paul has always had his odd techy wierd tracks since the mid 90's. He has never put them into a comp...the onyl real techy track on tpod was connecter - interference...

i think paul will have "electric" house disk 1, and melodic trancier stuff disk 2. Just like tpod 1.

im not expecting to see anything like sam sharp stuff...i think the only techy rework hes really made the past fiew months was asys - no more fuckin rock and roll, and i highhhhhhhhhhhhhhhly doubt it will be on a mix cd.

if there is even going to be a mix cd in the first place

I think it's also gonna be something like this. The harder stuff, PvD rarely chooses for something like a compilation...well, at least on the last two we've seen in past years (POD1 and Mixmag). I, however, doubt anything we're hearing now will be on the compilation if there is one, at least for the majority of the tracks. And I really hope it's very fresh tracks for it to be worthwhile...

One thing I find really anoying even though I can only blame myself for it is that the more I get into EDM, the more predictable mixes are and the more songs I've heard on them...Guess that's why we all have that one special compilation we heard when we were just starting to get into EDM, which we love and will cherish forever, since at the time we first heard it, it sounded fresh and we hardly knew any of the songs...

I really wish I could have that feeling back...

I think you guys forgot that he did vandit the sessions 03. He seems to reproduce the tracks slightly to make them mix flawlessly. I am looking forward to tpod2. Whoever was complaining about it being just another mix cd is mistaken. No one mixes like him. No one. Sure the tracks youve heard before but paul puts his own twist on em and blends them in interesting ways. Hopefully he can bam it out for my birthday

u seriously thought that was well mixed? luckily for me i never paid for mine a friend o mine bought it and copied it for me. Its one of the worst mixed CDs ive ever heard and if i had paid $$ for that shit i would have been VERY pissed off! just sounds like poorly mp3-mixed to me

PS:.. and i love PVD...

I know...but what I'm saying is, the more you listen to EDM, the least surprising and fresh compilations sound...when I bought POD I was just starting to really get into trance and it blew my mind away.
