Good idea in theory, but Melbourne TAs are notoriously shit at organising them / turning up to them. I'm thinking back to the GK 2002 meet-up that attracted a total of two people (me + Phil) and dozens of others that just haven't worked. Just randomly bumping into people front and center during a big-name set seems to be the best system we have to be honest.

But yeah, if you organise something and people actually turn up, I'll probably be there.
