Hey Mystery,

That was great!!!
Thats what i really needed, some help.....step by step.
Its perfect the way you put it together. Its great to hear everything separetly and then all together,to hear how it sounds.

Keep those tutorials coming.I also think the veterans should be helping more out....doing more tutorials etc.
you might just give some guy inspiration and one day he will make a killer track that youll love. After all we are on the same Transtastic team....right?
I also intend to post some stuff i learnt the other day that helped me tremendously.

By the way Mystery,do you have any tracks that you produced. That sample that you gave was outstanding!!!

Thanks again and i truly appreciate it.

Sure, there's a couple of links in my sig.

As for the rns file:
I'm not really sure I can give that out. Firstly, it's a remix of a track of friends of mine and I'm not sure they want me to put it up. I could also cut away everything but the percs but then there's the issue of all the ReFills used that I'd also need to put up as well as some samples I wouldn't really want to give away...

appreciate what your saying mate. even if you could label which are closed hats and open hats and which are shakers etc. in your tutorial i think it just says sample1, sample2 and so on. if your could let me know which percussion elements slot into each part of your tutorial that would be much appreciated.

thanks

Kane

I've written a description of each sample in the tutorial, is that not enough?

Here's my approach

Just want to say Thank You Mr. Mystery if it weren't for you I would still use loops.

Cheers,
John

Amazing tutorial Mystery,

Was just wondering if you get some time, if you could show us how to get that chunky percs sound that I hear so much of (ie. Marco V, Johan Gielen etc...). And also how to get the really "full" sound with the hats, layering etc.. .

Ta very muchly and keep up the good work!

Marco V style tech percs, using wood type instruments along with the traditional hats etc.. is what I am getting at really. I'll put some samples up later to show u what I mean.

Well I haven't really tried that out, but to me a lot of that sound comes from synths acting as a percussive element (like a heavily compressed & distorted synth playing really short stabs rhytmically).

I'm not really sure what to do it about - this same one can be used in most EDM styles with slight variations.

Any suggestions?
