Why do you need to do anaerobic excersize?...
Anaerobic excersize is resistence training, as I discussed it is to build muscle that in turns burns more calories, which keeps your body much leaner.
As for making the kinds of increases I have made, let me clarify a few things...
First my workouts:
I change things up at pretty much every workout. I rest more between sets some days and less others. I am always challenging my body. The 3 days I do resistance training they are full body workouts. I also change the order I do things, and change what I do so my body can't get used anything.
And I have missed the odd workout...you learn to listen to your body, it will tell you when it needs rest.
Second my diet:
I went from eating junk food, pasta, etc, to whole natural foods. I eat lot's of fish, cook my veggies in olive oil, never skip breakfast, and eat around 5 -6 small meals a day. You would be surprised how much more energy you have when you do this. I also gave up pop and cut juice intake to just one glass with breakfast. The rest of the time I drink water.
I do not currently take creatine, nor protein powder, I do however take mutli-vitamins & glucosamine, as well as use a fat conversion activity bar. I get all of these from one company... a wellness company.
That bar is the only one of its kind and actually blocks adenosine from being produced. Adenosine is what your body produces when you start excercising. It inhibits the body's ability to access it's fat stores, and slows your body down leaving you sore. When you consume this bar it accesses your fat stores, as well as recruits more muscle fibre, so you can work out longer & harder, and burn more fat. I am never sore after working out using this bar, but when I workout, or go running without it, I feel the burn

Third...bad habit:
I stopped smoking the green stuff, as it decreases energy, increases appitite for junk food, and increases the body's ability to store fat.

ps- the multi-vitamins I take have a delivery system that through there scientififc patent, garantees over 80% absorbtion rate. The closest any other vitamn I have looked at is under 40%, with most around 5 - 10%. When you give your body what it needs it can recover extremely quick.

The creatine you probably wouldnt be absorbed right away into your bloodstream though. I read that taking creatine before working out basically replishes the creatine being used up while you are working out. Makes sense to me. I guess taking creatine after workouts makes sense too as resting muscle usually has 25mM of creatine phosphate (about 4 times the level of ATP)
Anyways, i think i have pretty good recovery.

creatine doesnt give u energy, ATP does, when i was talking about creatine and energy, i dont mean creatine actually giving you energy, but the ATP.
Creatine + ATP <=> Creatine Phosphate + ADP

that means phosphates are being transfered onto ADP (diphosphate) to make ATP (triphosphate), our energy

resting muscle:
ATP: 5mM
Creatine phosphate: 25mM
Creatine: 5mM
pretty neat stuff huh?
