woo hoo .. i actually read all the pages ..

i have three different mornings for myself ..

-if i go to work on the weekday, (10am)
6:00am : alarm goes off. lie there, and either listen to the radio, or fall asleep.
7.30am : wake up
7.31am : wake up my computer, and type any programming ideas i have in my head. my best thoughts are when i just wake up. if i am fully conscious, i am brain dead.
7:45am : get up, take a piss, wash my face, look in the mirror, and ask myself psychotic questions about myself
7:55am : hop on the exercise bike, and go for 30 minutes. i do about 7 miles.
8:30am : jump in the shower, and clean myself
8:45am : eat breakfast (whatever is in the closet or fridge .. instant oatmeal .. cereal .. corn and peas .. whatever) and always a banana. while eating, i make my lunch and watch my two rabbits fool around and my birds communicating with the squirrels, blue jays, and other birds.
9:00am : clean up the kitchen of whatever mess i did, feed my rabbits and birds for the day, give them the regular pep talk.
9:10am : brush my teeth, shave, change my clothes, deoderant, and look at myself again with psychotic thoughts
9:20am : finally i am out the door. it takes the average person 40 minutes to get to where i work. i can get there in 30. but i still am late for work.

if a weekday, and school(12.00pm) :
**same as above until 9am, then i just sit on my couch and watch tv, or chill on my computer until 11:45am. i go upstairs, dress, and run to school.

if the weekend, got to get to work for 5.30am
wake up at 3.50am, shave, shower and piss, go downstairs, make breakfast and lunch .. head out about 4:40am .. if i need gas, then i fill my car up.. get there in less than 30 minutes, because no one is around. hahahaha...

oh the ho hum life ..

i need breakfast to produce, so i have some milk with my cereal and stuff .. or most of the time, not in the milk mood, so a lot of orange juice or about 2-3 cups of coffee black.

what job has you awake by 4am?? if i had to take a job like that, ide better damn pay good.

it's better than being unemployed. and they're paying me $10/hour (better than nothing...) . hahahha ..
i just listen to people with their complaints.

extra 60 cents an hour if work after 4pm, and $1 more for working weekends .. and get "paid time off" .. so if i want to take off, they pay me for being drunk..

i'm a LAN admin for my company and i'm getting up at 6am for my job

you guys turn your servers off at night or what? cause to get up that early for work, you either exercise before or you gotta boot up everything before job hours start

Since I am doing my surgical rotation at night, I wake up at 9:30a.m. and I take a piss.
Take the dog out.
Give the dog his shot.
Eat breakfast.
Surf the world wide web for 15 minutes.
Write up my cases from the night before.
Lift weights.
Shower, then head off to school to carpool with my classmates.

nah .. we got it up 24/7 ..
but i got to do the stupid stuff .. get reports for the day from different servers .. run the backup tapes (full/incremental/copy stuff) .. get some more reports .. get the internet packet reports (which i see as a waste of time. the manager should just fetch this from the computer herself, but she wants a paper copy) .. then i sit down on the computer and sh!t around .. that's my day ...

oh ok, yeah our servers do the incremental/differential backups automatically on schedule every morning, and full backup every 2 days, I just take the backups out of the drive and give them to the dude who comes and picks them up at 8am everyday to take em off site

I work at EDS so we gotta follow strict measures for backups as company can loose millions if a backups lost and servers fuck out that day (never has happened in the time I have been there, the bastards are running fuckloads of mainframes and every server/mainframe is on raid 5 and optical fibre, also running 30 custom made UPS' that can keep em powered on for 5 months during powercuts) so i'm pretty sweet for that sorta thing, the companys well managed so I dont have too much un-needed responsibility

ur experience there will benefit you well man, keep at it then go do MCSE/CCNP and you'll be well on your way

ahhh yep, yeah sorta like the Department of Health here in NZ

heh NZ's a pretty good place for food, we tend to keep calories low and fat is almost nil in alot of aucklands food...(not so much a health issue, we just dont like the taste)
