I mean, unless you're like 15 yrs old and don't have a job, there's no excuse for that. Don't expect that rule of thumb to work when u get older, buddy.
I am in NO WAY a golddigger at all. In fact, the few times people offer to buy me anything or pay my way, I end up fighting them on the matter, even if I have no income. That's just the way I was brought up- there was always a fight for the bill when families or friends went out together, LOL! I have no problem paying for things for my boyfriend, and I am lucky enough to have found one (finally) who wants to pay for me when he can. It's a great feeling. |
Well I mean, if she needs help paying for something, I'll chip in, and she'd do the same for me. It's a mutual thing... not me putting a net sum of money out for her or her putting a net sum of money out for me, and that's the way it should be. If we're going out for a night, we both bring some cash. If she pays for one, I'll pay for the next one.

Wow...the nerve of some women...
Personally I don't understand the asking of finances right up front IN THE FIRST CALL???? WTF?
That would red flag is right there for me.
If she's not willing to get to know me before knowing my situation then she would already be under my acceptance line and would have to crawl her own way back up on my list that I'm mentally building.
Notch down:
Making you late with other people involved.
She was aware before-hand of the meeting situation.
She disrespected your time AND your friends.
Another notch down:
Your friend having to pay for her food without you knowing.
What else would she do behind your back?
(good on you for paying your friend back btw)
Another notch down:
Expecting to get a drink after suggesting you guys go get a drink.
Lame. If someone suggested that to me, I would almost expect them to offer me one! Not sit there and wait for me to pay after the drink is in front of me after I suggested it...
Lame, lame, lame...
Another notch down (and the cincher):
The gas trick.
Wow....talk about improbable expectations; at least it would have for me at this point.
This is girl is so far down she might has well have undone my belt and zipper...
At least I would have paid for it by the sounds of things.
I've run across this same situation too Jayx1.
My suggestion?
Fucking SPRINT out of that situation not run...
She may be good looking and all, but like you've said, her personality is ass.
She might as well have a wart on the end of her nose...
...and as tempting as it might seem to try and tap that, don't bother, you'll never feel clean again...
