i'm sick
according to people at work
anyway...
last night was wicked. I do believe that Turnmills has invested in some more lasers
It was quite busy but they opened the back room behind the main dancefloor, so there was space there which was a bonus. We stayed there for the majority of the night.
we met up with tonya and katie when we got in, about 11.30pm. These two girls are craaazzzzyyyy Armin started off a bit proggy, played G&D - Arcadia, Motorcycle - Around You, then he moved into his more usual style, but it wasn't like ASOT!
Ferry came on at 3, again, he started slower, but then he moved onto his usual electro style. tunes i remember were, sweet sorrow, kyoto, his remix of synaesthesia, its time, made of sun, and he played this tune which i first heard in may. Its got his usual electro style to it (so i suspect he has remixed it or something) and its got a prominent female vocal crying "are you there, are you there" i must have it! Also he played a nice downtempo vocal tune, with a sorta disco-y groove to it. it was nice
WE only met Jubas randomly at like 4, i could tell it was him because from far off, he looked like the sort of person who takes long walks on the beach
but it was very good night in all, nice tune selection, albeit nothing new and amazing, had lots of fun with the TA ladies, and danced my arse off
Now i'm going to sleep again
