Where is your arguement for saying he is wrong Period ? Trance wave and ABT have made some very valid and interesting points and arguements, its because these two ppl showed matureity and the ability to think and analyse each others posts and replys that they came to a mutal understanding of each other, they dont agree but are mature enough to see where the other person is coming from.
Neither of them are 100% right or 100% wrong and again it's mainly cos of trance wave and ABT that this thread remains open, it so easily could have turned into a complete waste of server space.
i have been reading this thread over and over and both ABT and Trancewave have been thoughtful, intelligent and not had to resort to the usual cussing and bad mouthing, well done guys

Time for my view

if you went back about 9 months ago I would probably be one of the most homophobic people you could ever meet. Like I can remember walking back from clubs and pubs in a big mob with some mates, and we used to see the occasional gays hanging around the park near my house, as brainless as we was then we would gob off at them and threaten to beat them up, one time me and 5 mates threw some bricks and near enough assualted two homosexuals we found once, but that was the old me so don't even bother flaming me for my past cos I can't turn back the clocks and do fuck all about it, now I've matured and wised up and I'm less of an asshole that I was a little while back.

My mother works in the fashion industry and of course she has a lot of gay friends and so on, but my family coming from an Irish background they don't tolerate gays and basicially loathe them and a lot of Irish people are raised to hate them, same goes for Brits too, like in Manchester and London they accept them and they have their own like villages and suburbs, but I think just about everywhere else in the Uk their hated by a fair few people like they couldn't make out in public or anything. I changed my views one day when sitting in a pub with one of my friends I saw some camp looking guy and I turned to my friend and said 'eeerrrghhh what a fucking fag', suddenely my friend turns to me and has probably the biggest go anyones had at me she replies 'your so fucking out of order Keir fucking change your views their human beings just like me and you!' and that actually hit me, as much as my friend was in a temper with me for a few hours and we argued a bit then I thought about it and changed my attitude towards them, like at the end of the day its not their fault if their attracted to another man or another women, I can understand some of the people taking here about aggressive gays because even though i've never had a man hit on me thank god lol maybe my ugly gruff apperence acts as a deterant hahaha, yeah but it must of been scary for these dudes having a guy stalking them, and my last bit is I have no problem now with people who are gay bisexual whatever trysexual (try anything sexual) j/k hahaha so long they don't overdo it in the camp clotheing and the I'm gay fuck you hetrosexual pig attitude (flamers or whatever you dudes call them). anyways all peace keep it up its a good debate.

back to the problem of gay people, I think the best is not to be prejudicial about them. I mean, if U know someone is gay it doesn't make him bad. there are problems with the gay community (and its members) as well as there are with the rave community, but this doesn't make us all the same; and thinking how I hate to see people change their attitude when they hear I listen to trance (those that know what it is, of course), I can guess what homosexuals must feel. those peaceful, decent ones. the others...

I think both Trancewave and ABT are correct. It comes down to the individual case. There are some things that shouldn't be done in public, and there are some things that certain homosexual individuals do that would be construed as aggressive and inappropriate. However upset by these actions we may be, we cannot generalize the entire sexual preference category here. On the other hand, we can't deny those with negative views to have them, given they have an experience to have caused them. As long as no generalizations are there
