It seems everyone has an opinion which is great but the more you stress over it more you will scrutinise the night and dj's which will lead to a shit night

if the set times don't work out which i think they will then we move along and try something different for the next party

why don't you all wait and see what happens, who knows you might just enjoy the night

i'd actually like to stop playing the same tunes as i have been for the last half a decade but every time i incorporate some fresh stuff i notice the punters leave the dance floor.

or maybe its because i just suck balls

i do agree with some of what you're saying vi, but if a dj is really that good, you should be able to put them on at any time during the night, and they should be able to accommodate their set accordingly.

i think the set times for this event are pretty good. its hard trying to give everyone a go when you have so many dj's to think about. everyone gets a chance to prove themselves eventually.

i dont know about you, but when i'm playing a 1 HOUR set, i like to keep all my tunes exciting and uplifting. things that people know, and honestly its been working for me in my shorter sets. I dont see it as enough time to "construct" a 'perfect' set. You can "not" be happy with anthems at 10pm, but i can tell you mate, if you think i'm going to be playing anthems at 10 o'clock, then you clearly have no idea about me as a DJ or me as a person. Seriously man, would i really open up the mainstage with anthems?

Its somewhat dissapointing that you can't be excited for our vs set at 10 because you think that i am not a versatile DJ. You entitled to your opinion, but i would prefer that you dont judge me on 2 sets both an hour long at events which people are clearly responding to anthem type tunes. i dont see how that can be a clear indicator of my tune range as a dj.

i will play what i have planned to play this friday and then you can say whatever you like. i'm just not appreciatve that you've labelled my set to be somewhat "average" before its happend.

again, i havent taken any offence, but how can i not respond to my first mainstage gig being played down.
