Ascension- For A Lifetime, whatever mix I've heard is seriously moving

Rui Da Silva- Touch Me, love it

Planet Perfecto- Bullet In The Gun, when I first heard this song I thought the lyrics were ridiculously cheesy and I couldn't get past that. And now I adore this track!

Vocals help make a track memorable, otherwise the track needs a fairly special and distinctive aspect to it eg Faithless- Insomnia

So very many tracks sound like they could have been made by any joe bloggs with the right program these days. The standard layers, you know? And kick it with a big synth derived from the massive anthems produced from 98/99.

Maybe vocals help people appreciate that someone at least had to write lyrics and a melody, as opposed to playing on the computer??

What, you mean if you make trance on a computer then you don't have to write melodies?

um yeah. coz producing QUALITY trance tunes is just a piece of cake. and the lyrics in trance songs are just SO complicated, deep and meaningful
