By that logic no one has a credible opinion until they've hardcore listened to a genre by a certain number of years then?

I will likely get bored of house but I will still be able to say that there is talent out there and that it hasn't gone totally downhil. I stopped listening to rap a short while ago because I got a bit bored but I will still give credit to artists like K-OS and Talib Kwalie (sp). As far as trance goes I can't say there are many artists I can stomach enough to play their tracks once or more.

deep house has been pretty much the exact same since 1992, funky house since '99 or '00.

Tiesto plays at Disney land and the olympics, #1 DJ in the world. Teeny boppers and small children everywhere love him. Trance is going places.

Nah, I listen to a lot of house as well. Like I have stated before on these boards, I have been listening to all sorts of electronic/dance since I was probably 5 years old. I like it all, trance, techno, house... whatever. But yeah, the majority of what I listen to now is Trance. Although for about a good 4 or 5 years from middle school to high school I was listening to a lot of techno.

This year is already been amazing for house and it's just going to keep getting better. Nick Warren GU28, Sasha releasing another album, Digweed supposedly has another release on the way. Either way you look at it, the best of the best from both sides of the fence are making some serious albums right now. This year is definately going to be interesting, but we'll just have to wait and see how it all pans out. That's why I said wait till December/January to ask cause it may all go downhill before we're even half way through 05.

so what you are telling me is that these albums comming out are going to be better then the past ones?

Someone mentioned all the trance albums from big names in the business on the way, so I thought I'd list some of the house albums.
