just to reiterate... uh.. the sets are strictly trance (give or take prog) right.. i dont really want to be wading thru hard house and jungle when DLing the other ppl's sets...

and dawn, you're competing? i thought you were a judge

well, i guess i lucked out....i found a semi-decent mixer with an eq, so that solved half of my problems so far. now all i need is another digital (read: computer) source to pipe the mix to.

as for a recording proggy, i just use soundforge (5.0 to be specific)....its always been good to me

BTW: boy_luke, i tried VTT again...couldn;t stand it. i'm already used to using this one program (DeeJaySystem MKIfree) which apparently emulates Denon CD decks...its only got one cue point, but thats all i need really. also, its got pretty near instant start, whereas VTT has a little latency...and there's only one key to set/play from cue point, which i like

How do you set that up? Where do you plug in the headphones? I'm using Traktor...

with VTT, you can use the 'audio doohicky'....look for it in the context help. (it requires buying a couple audio adapters)

with traktor, it might be the same way....i haven't used it much to tell ya tho.

in all cases, check the dox
