Fave: Definitely G&D, I'm surprised these guys haven't been mentioned more. I agree that they can be regarded as having a somewhat cookie-cutter style at times, but that's hard to avoid when you crank out track after track like they do. Nevertheless, they do keep it fresh, with 2 consecutive trance tracks of the year (ASOT) and many more in the top 20. Their basslines are killer and melody to boot. Also, Leama & Moor (and Andy in general). I think everything these guys put out is great and beautifully layered, there's a ton going on in every track, for instance their remix of Li Kwan (Matt Darey) - Point Zero.
Most Overrated: Agreed. Markus & AvB. When MS first came out I loved him and I loved the style he brought to the scene. However, I don't feel it's evolved much, and yes, draws out. I do think he is highly skilled and respect him, just choose not to listen much. AvB, never really could get into this guy.
Lifetime achievement: Tilt. These guys have been doing it for well over half a decade with some of the huge tracks that made Oakey what he was in the late 90's. They've evolved and bring some fresh melodies and basslines to today's more progressive style.
Big things: Agreed. Matthew Dekay. As a producer and a DJ this guy crosses some bounds. First saw him at WMC '04 at Little Mountain night when he opened for Sander and he blew Nerve away. Killer sound this guy has.
