Yes, but my inital post that was aimed at someone else, was due to them saying that they were voting for so-n-so due to what they have done for the scene or produced or whatever, which shouldn't be a swaying factor in the popularity of a dj, bad sadly is, as people will flock to see producers-turned-djs as they recognise the name.
You see, a dj who doesnt produce, has a hard time becoming popular, as thei name is only spread through their gigs.
Prolly why so many djs now start up amateur productions in an attempt to build a bigger fanbase.
It's all become one big stint at self-marketing 
The dj that has impressed me the most this year, is one I had not heard of until a few months ago, Ian Betts.
Also, the problem I have with this poll, is it makes newbies think that the top ranked djs are so ranked to to skill and what-have-you, not taking into account it is merely a sheer number of votes that decides where on the chart they rank.
Cue newb of 3 months spurting "Tiest0r must be the bestest deejay in the world, he wouldn't be numebr 1 in DJ Mag otherwise"
