YEs, the main artery to the city is shut down but there are alternate, LONGER ways.. but there is. IM not throwing the blame on Bush, there's something called the Homeland Security, in which there has been BILLIONS of dollars invested on it for this kind of things, terrorism, disasters and all that kind of thing.. and whats been seen its just ludicrus.. I understand all of what has been mentioned, but its just obviouse of the slow response in the assistance. Like I said.. Even BUSH admited it to it for those that keep defending that everything done is correct, just to let you guys know that your guy admited how slow the assistance is.. and that all he can do now is correct it.. I will look for that Speech and posted here if non of you believe me on that. Its dumb to go anti bush yeah, but its clear to criticize the government and this administration as a whole on how they've handled this. |
Dude first i like your position, the one that blame Bush for all the shit is happening are just stupid, that dont know anything about politics. Well Felipe i think that the buses had probably been there, im sure that in NO they have Bus companies, like Coach and all that crap that are available for use, or maybe as you know they have sports team and shiet and they probably use their transportation to move the people. But note these type of transporations are in New Orleans already, i think. I doubt that they are coming from outside. Bush is going to give like $10bn of aid, correct me if im wrong i think its more, but remember the process of aid is sometimes takes a bit long, because it has to pass through congress, especially when dealing with money, if you understand politics you get what i mean. But since bush is also the commander and chief, YES he was slow regarding sending navy ships and w.e have you to assist the people
