I brought it up to raise awareness. I'm not ashamed at all. those women who are part of the iranian soccer team are forced to wear those outfits regardless of their consent. Some may like it, some may not. THOSE who don't, should have the freedom to wear the TRADITIONAL soccer outfit (shorts + shirt).
THE ISSUE IS, GOVERNMENT'S SUCH AS IRAN'S where FREEDOM OF CHOICE IS MEANINGLESS.
EVEN ISLAM SAYS "people are free to chose their religion" .
To my understanding , the bible does not specify or DEMAND women to cover themselves from head to toe, NOT EVEN a scarf... HOWEVER, when cristians or forigners enter IRAN, they ARE FORCED to wear it inorder to avoid jail time.
