In the beginning there was Jack. And Jack had a groove. And from this groove came the groove of all grooves. And while one day viciously throwing down on his box Jack boldly declared "Let there be house!" And house music was born. I am the creator and this is my house and in my house there is only house music. But I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes our house and our house music and you see no one man owns house because house music is a universal language spoke and understood by all. You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house. House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body and as I told you before this is our house and our house music. In every house you understand, there is a keeper and in this house the keeper is Jack.

Amazing Night

Wow, Armin def. ripped it last night. I'm actually happy that he played the danceable techy shit, and not pure fluff. I was the big Indian kid in a black T-shirt that had smoke coming from my shoes since I was dancin' non stop all night. I was beat by 6, but toughed it out till 7:30.

I know it was crowded, but the people were especially rude last night. Note to foreigners: In America, we say excuse me and push past people in front of you. Some dude grabbed my hips from behind last night too. I have no problem with people being gay, but if a ****** ever grabs me like that again, he will have no teeth left in his mouth.

Great seeing all the regulars

it was a great set and i really enjoyed it, i didnt stayed till the end cause my friends were trashed and wanted to leave so whatever. fuckin freshmen.
anyway, i got there at around 1 and i just cut the line and got in 10 minutes later, i was not waiting 2 hours to get in. once inside, the club was way too packed, way too packed and everybody was pushing you, shoving their arm, man it was crazy. there was this girl standing next to me fighting with all the guys lol it was so funny.
remy played really well but people wanted armin.. i noticed remy was .01 secs off in some of his transitions even though i was drunk as fuck lol but its cool, he dropped the usual remy-style tracks. its a good package though the Remy-AvB team , i like it cause there is no lame filler-house-tracks-dj spinning before the main act!
the lasers were insane!!! really really really loved them.

whats the name of the 1st track armin played?

In anycase, the night was amazing. Oooh man, just overwhelming. I don't even have the words. It was great seeing a lot of you and meeting a couple of you there. This was my first time @ Crobar and it was unforgettable. Myself and Andre1129 being the first two people in line, got to watch a lot of the madness unfold from the beginning as the crowd poured in and well, I have to ask, what was with the old people there(60+ yrs)? Were they undercover cops? Rich old guys looking to pick up young women? Or just old people who happened to be into trance? Also, what was that mix of 'Who is Watching' ?

I thought Armin's set was on point. I don't know why it seems like he doesn't get the same kind of acclaim as the other elite DJ's. All in all things were fuckin' awsome. Can't wait 'till he comes back. Me or Andre will have pics up soon.

......wow

As Blake mentioned earlier, we were the first two people on the line. I myself was there since 8:00 pm lol. I know I know... no life.
Nice meeting other TA's there. You guys are awesome!

Nevertheless, this was my first time at Crobar as well as seeing Armin and Remy live. Remy was alright, his set picked up at the end. Armin of course OWNED. While I was there I was able to ID like 3/4 of the tracks but I am so burnt out right now I can only remember a few. Also, I really was hoping for Armin to play some "new" stuff like "Time Goes By", M.I.K.E " New Harvest club Mix", Gabriel & Dresden feat. Molly "Tracking Treasure Down" but he didn't. Im also surprised he didn't play Serenity. Maybe he played that shit out a long time ago lol and decided not to use it. Oh another comment, I was type upset he played the M.I.K.E DUB remix of Shivers instead of that new remix by "Dj Tatana".

As far as Crobar, that is the nicest club I have been to so far in my experience. Only real problem with that place is the H2o cannons with the smoke shit... THEY ARE WAYYYY TO FUCKIN LOUD. I mean really, when they came on they fuckin kill the music as well as my EARS!! RAHH

ok, some tracks that I remember off hand with some pics biotches!!!

Mr Sam - Lyteo
Armin van Buuren - Shivers (Alex M.O.R.P.H DUB Remix)
Inertia - The Chamber (Original Mix)
Purple Haze - Adrenaline
Markus Schulz Feat. Departure - Without You Near (Gabriel & Dresden Remix)( I believe he played this twice if im not mistaken)
Rank 1 - TopGear
Perry O Neil - Numb
Kuffdam & Plant - Summerdream (Paul van Dyk Remix)
U2 - Where the streets have no name (Nu NRG instrumental)
M.I.K.E. - Strange World (Spectrum remix) this shit sounded so hot at Crobar!!! I know everyone here can agree.... fuckin hotness!!!
Three Drives - Greece 2000 ( not sure what the remix name is but it was hot as well)
Marco V. - False Light (WHOOOOO this sounded hot as well at Crobar)
Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes
Way Out West - Killa
Armin Van Buuren ft. G&D - Zocalo
Randy Katana - Play It Louder (BLADE SHIT LMFAO)
Out Of The Past - Mystery (Fred Baker vs Vincent Gozack Remix)I really love this song, the vocals are beautiful ahhhhh

ahhh can't remember anything else right ... maybe later I will.

ok pics !!!!

Good things:
Remy.
Armin.

Bad things:
Being sick.
Bouncer taking my aspirin, dropping it on the ground, Some n00b stomping on it and grinding it into the ground like it was on fire. WTF!? (i understand tho)
Fucking e-tard girls grinding their crotches all over me and pushing everywhere (maybe if i was a little more drunk/not sick i would've enjoyed that bit more ;P )
The damn loud C02 cannons. But it was bearable.
