Silver Bath is one of those tracks that should never be touched.. it still sounds as perfect today as it did when it came out.
their is no room for a melodic trance remix at least. Mike managed to take on a different approach to the Strange World melody, but i don't see how that is possible with Silver Bath, as it is much more complex. and there is no point in releasing a "remake" if you've only changed some minor things here and there..

actually the melody is pretty simple... just a simple arpeggio.

For fucks sake, getting all antsy over a single damn track on an album. Get over it. Remakes are made all the time. Big fucking deal. Personally, I like it. Do I think it was necessary? No....but it's not a big deal.
Some people just seem to look out for things to hate on way too much on here these days. It's getting old. Stop being jaded. Enjoy the music that you like and ignore the rest.
Dave, who has had little sleep in like a month so is irritable as fuck.

It's a symptom of a wider problem in trance music today. Producers seem to have run out of ideas, and have turned to just rehashing old tracks to make a buck. This is why people are "getting all antsy".

I disagree, i cant get hold of that 2000 remake, sold out everywhere. Hopefully it will be included with the rerelease, which actually sounds quite Beefy ; )

don't think it will be included, seeing as this one is named M.I.K.E. - Strange world 2006 and not Push

it hasnt even come out and there is so many complaints already. It might even be as good as strange world(2000)...who knows? Even if it isn't so what.
in case you missed it, there's a sample in this thread, so we know how it sounds
