Actually ... its the bad Russian and Soviet leaders like Stalin that caused the murders, not the ordinary Russian people, and they actually killed more of their own people than of your Polish people. Alexander II was the last great Russian leader before Putin, in my opinion, and he ruled from 1856-1881.
As of World War II, if you dont know it well, Poland was offered to join both the Soviet Union and Germany - Germany offered alliance, Soviets wanted it as part of Soviet Union. Polish people were too proud and insubordinate, and thought they could withstand both empires. So as a result Germans and Soviets took up both. As Germans OBLITERATED their western Polish chunk with luftwaffe and blitzkrieg, the Soviets were welcomed on the east, with only the bulk of Polish brass being murdered (as same was done with soviet brass as Stalin was insane).
During World War II, when Soviet armies approached Warsaw and were preparing to liberate it from German oppression (dont forget Germans killed WAY MANY MORE Polish people than Soviets did, and dont deny th Holocaust), Polish patriots decided to liberate the city themselves. So while the Soviets were preparing for an attack on Warsaw, polish underground forces rose up to fight Germans to liberate their own city, and paid a heavy price for it, with over 200,000 Polish people dead and beautiful city in ruins. Why blame the Soviets when they were going to liberate you in 2 weeks and everyone including the Germans KNEW IT WILL HAPPEN!
You should read a great book called Archipelago Gulag by a legendary Russian writer Solzhenitsyn, it will open your eyes to the truth of brutality of communism who oppresed the Russian people and others and set my culture back many years, stole and sold many historic Russian historical artifacts like from Hermitage (as an example) and destroyed many landmarks for the sake of their communist terrorism.

You should thank Russian/Soviet forces for liberating your Poland or today the whole Europe would be speaking in German and all Jews, Slavs, gypsies and other minorities WOULD NOT EXIST because Nazis had these plans, as seen in Holocast.
You should be thankful to Russia that Soviet Russia lost 28 million its own people (of 60 million total dead in WW2 by ALL coutries) to protect your own heritage and country. And it was Soviet Union that defeated the Nazis,if it wasnt for them western powers would not be able to stop Nazis (as a matter of a fact, Germans lost 700-something divisions in the east, while ALL OF WESTERN ALLIES only destroyed 100-plus German divisions)
You should be thankful to Russia because when East Prussia was incoporated into Soviet Union, Poland received 3/4 of it, making up 1/4 of Poland's territoty today.

Plus you should be thankful thank Polish authorities with the help of Soviet armies forcefully moved all Germans from their native lands for many years east of river Oder, to Germany west of Oder, securing about 100 km wide territorial bonus for Poland. About 5 million Germans were forced out of lands in possession of Poland today.
Talking about Palestinians today this is actually worse cause noone is even talking about it.
Do some research before you say such hurtful and nonsense statements. Russians have been on your side more than once. While you and western Ukrainian friends have went against Russia and Soviet Union more than twice, as seen in World War II, when invading German oppressors were "WELCOMED" by their Nazi "LIBERATORS". Only when they saw German oppression did they started resisting and asked Soviets help. After World War II they went against Soviets again.
