When the US starts showing tolerance for other cultures and religions and deals with the issues in their own country (ie. 34 million Americans living on or below the poverty line) then I will respect them. Oh and when they get off their high horse and stop assuming American life is THE WAY and the be all and end all, more respect will follow. |
Canada doesnt deal with issues within its own country, so why should you tell americans to deal with theirs?
In canada we deal with muliticultural hiarchy. How many times do i hear second and third generation canadians talk about how their cultural background is superior to others? (meanwhile they are all canadian anyways). What difference is that to how americans act except that unlike canadians, americans are proud to wave their flag?(instead of a flag of a foreign country like we do)
