really? opposite for me. I used to think cigarettes were gross..and now i smoke, but have cut back on the amount of pot i smoke

I agree with that. But saying that marijuana is responsible for people using other substances is a tad ridiculous, because painkillers such as T3's, percs and alocholic drinks could be as much to blame as smoking weed. In the end, it's the user's own choice. Getting tough on weed again will only waste resources and possibly ruin the lives of someone who gets caught with dope and has to pay for that for the rest of their life.

Exactly, just because someone smokes a joint, it doesn't increase their likely hood of tryin harder drugs.

Based on the facts, cigarettes lead to alcohol, which leads to marijuana. But neither of them are labeled gateway drugs...
