consider the following factors:
- the city sets the limit on how late a club can be open
- the city sets essentially affects how expensive it is to rent a venue
- the city issues permits for afterhour events, therefore it also sets prices on those
there are other factors, but those are the main ones that prevent the scene from growing.
add to that greedy club owners, i guess cant blame either for wanting to earn an extra buck either
the reason scene in toronto is prospering so much is because clubs are promoters so its in their best interest to draw all those people. thats different here, clubs stick to strict policies and laws and like to jack up prices on stuff
so yeah, i kinda lost my train of thought somwhere, but you get the picture
