JeanCoutu moving? never heard of that sorry.
what do unions have to do with that anyways, its buisness decisions.
Charest forced public sector unions to a fixed salary... i don't understand JC and loeblaws in that. |
i am good friends with many jean coutu employess....they couldnt even get a cost of living increase in their recent barganing agreement. When you see in the next year on the news that 400 people lost their jobs....
I was a loblaws/maxi/provigo employee for many years.(not in the stores but in transport logistics)they are one of the largest employers in the province. They plan to cut the quebec work force by 40% over the next 5 years.
Trucking companies like Robert transport,Thibodeau,Art & Ross, are all slowly moving out of the province.More lost jobs.
Its gotta stop one day.Its already pathetic enough that even the bank of MONTREAl has no head office here.Cn moved theirs from Montreal to Calgary.I respect your opinion malek, i truly do.The reality is alot of the blue colar workforce will be without jobs due to this law. Most arent highly skilled either, what will they do?Milk unemployment and welfare dry.Especially if they have no jobs to go to.
I think we shall agree to disagree.I understand your points malek, i just happen to be part of the group that is fed up of running in circles in this province. When will this province realize its full potential...its there, but there is no one to move it ahead, esp with the liberal gov.
ps George Weston ltee(the parent company of loblaws) is based in Calgary, not Ontario. Why arent they going to Alberta then?
