Please do enlighten me

Luxury hotels are all about the experience. The design and decoration, the commodities, the service, the restaurants and bar and most importantly, the room.
Im a hotel junkie, so staying in hotels for me is lots of fun, and im usually with my gf so we do more than sleep. In fact, we don't sleep, therefore the room has to offer every commodity we need.
If the hotel room has soundproofed walls, it's a huge plus, but it's very rare to find. I like to blast my music while im rolling though.
Bathrobes are a must. A minibar is a huge plus as well, the last thing you want to do while cracked out is having to call room service to get some coca cola.
Usually, when i look for a room, i check to see if it has a kitchen, because a kitchen means they have a microwave so i can bake some ketamine. Also, champagne and wineglasses are a must in any room, as well as a cork opener.
I also like the room to have separation between the bedroom and the living room, in otherwords the layout is extremely important. Living rooms are fun because you can just chill in the couches and its a nice change of scenery from being in the bedroom.
Another plus in hotel rooms is the balcony or terrace, especially in non smoking rooms, because this gives you the oppourtunity of smoking outside and having your room smell nice as well.
If the balcony has a view (ocean/city/mountain) then your experience can be much better.

i could go on and on but im sure you get the point.

Don't let potential parenting ( you're not yet prego are you ) prevent you from exploring around the world .

My sister in the Us just had her first baby earlier this year and she flew to France with her husband two months after and we drove extensively ( several 6 to 8+ hour drives ).
It does help that her daughter loves being in the car .... the only time she complains is when we are stopped! ( last long trip we did the whole drive was fine but as soon as we got in town she got fussy cause of all the stopping and going with the traffic lights ).

no not prego, yet.... got a few more years.

my point is young children can be a bit of a pain to travel with. i guess i should rephrase, 5 years or younger. long plane flight with children can be a bit difficult.

and to the other person, i have reached most of myy travelling dreams. i want to go EVERYWHERE, and i have realised that i cant do all that. i am happy where i have gone so far. i lived for a year in a few of those places, so i am content with that as i was able to experience the culture. but i cant have it all.

I prefer crashing at a friends' place after a night of going out. Just as much fun, without the costs. Who needs luxury then? I don't.

I only stay in hotels when I make a business trip / are on holiday, all you really need is a bed and a shower then, since you're not spending any time in the hotel apart from sleeping anyway.
