I only watched the 3rd and 4th sets, i thought Rafa played well, he made some amazing shots, as usual, and don't forget grass is not his surface...

I watched the earlier sets and had to miss the end (unhappy about that), but I understand it's not his surface but it would have been good to see him really fight in the first set. He's great and I hope he'll have better luck on grass in the years to come or at least beat Federer at the US Open

Yes, very interesting US Open to come, if Nadal doesn't loose against James Blake I would like to see a final between number 1 and number 2, with a win from Federer, would be great

i should be at this year's US Open either volunteering or just attending the event but someone who I think should win a title is David Nalbandian. I like James Blake too, but he's not mentally ready to make the final of a major tournament, he totally self destructed during Wimbledon and could do it again. It's so odd that Ancic is ranked so high, when he played Federer he did not seem like a top 10 player but on the other hand Federer is on his way to owning Wimbledon

Don't forget Ancic made a great Roland Garros and won a title before Wimbledon.. you know, even when 2 years ago number 2 Andy Roddick played against Federer, there was a big difference between both, so ...
Nalbandian is very dangerous indeed, and he can play well on any surface, and can beat Nadal at the US open... but I do think Nadal can reach the final in september, even if he will certainly face stronger opponents than the ones he played against at Wimbledon.
Blake is not ready to win a grand slam, i agree, but he beated Nadal two times on hard court, and last year he reached the semi final at the US open, loosing against Agassi, people said it was an incredible match but i never had the chance to watch it.
