Never thought of that, perhaps a bit risky to change our whole way of playing at this late stage tho, and with that we'd have no real creative player in the middle of the park as pirlo seems resigned to playing as a defensive midfielder.

I think totti will come good, I thought he played excellent against ghana in the first 45, then his lack of match practice showed in the second half, against the USA he was taken off too early to make any sort of impact, and against the czech's he was pretty poor considering the amount of free space he had. I think he's in the same boat as rooney tho, you won't see the best of him in this torunament due to his long term injury prior to it starting.

I'd keep totti in as he's always capable of a little bit of magic to unlock a defence.

My point of getting him benched. I think him coming in off the bench in a game we should win no offense you dingos but we really should could give him a kick in the ass

Lackluster performance by Italy. However, I don't think they were trying. All of Totti's shots were weak and straight at the goalie. I think they were hoping for a tie in the USA v Ghana game. Cannavaro played very well.
