my parents are pretty cool with it. They dont necessarily "like" it, but every once in a while they will sit in my room and dance around like a bunch of fuckin idiots and then my bros join in and then i get all pissed becasue its really stupid... whatever you know how it goes.. its really the punk music that annoys my mom.. IS ALL THE SAME.. she says that about trance and i go, "mom, you dont even listen to trance how would you know." so there!

I have read most of the post’s on the forum and must of them are the same, my dad loves Trance he even downloads music off the net and Burns them on my CD Writer, which in a way is good cause it saves me doing it and I just nick the CD, My mum well shes a fuking nutter some days she goes mental when I play my Nick Sentience Hard House Volume 1 , through my Dolby Pro Logic Speakers with BOSE amplifier, shes says “ Its BANG BANG BANG , its just noise ‘ I just laugh and tell her to make me some pie, I then go and get my pie and she has Rod Stewart on singing like Madonna when she was a virgin, ill say WTF are you on speed, he is gay and he looks gay. At end of the day ill listen to anything , I like Rod and Phil Collins and some of the OLD Stuff , but there is no comparison to Trance , Trance rules the World Forever.

My parents just call it all "Techno" . They DO like Robert Miles' "Dreamland", though. That was my first Trance album. That's the only album they point out that they like. The rest is "no opinion". Most of my friends are into Rap, Pop/Rock, R+B, Soul, etc. So, they HATE any form of electronic music (especilly Trance). Some of them like House, though.....

haha i dont live with my parents but when i visit them i listen to my discman and they hear it they are like shut off that techno crap...LOL
and my mom calls it disco :P

my parents doesnt mind at all , and they never tell me to turn if off or anything..
only to turn down the volume on the night or at the morning (yes, i do listen to trance/techno when i stand up at the morning before i go to school)

normally i listen to it with my headset, so no one get bothered by the music in here =p
