this has to have been one of the best events i have attended since being in the scene. fast efficient lines, friendly people everywhere (including security one gave julia and i water), amazing venue to be surrounded by all the tall buildings and have music going everywhere, and no cracked out 13 year olds creating e-puddles everywhere you went!
got there around 8:30 and got right in, went straight to vip and got drinks, went out into the crowd and ran right into tons of TA's and club friends everywhere. there was an electricity in the air and smiles were abound. i saw and hung with so many TA's i can't even begin to list them all. sooooooooooo much fun! so great to see sebby! it's been too long!
walked around a bit but made my way over right at 9:30 to see Zabs and man what a show he put on! the TA's had the front commondered and it was like a huge party with all your friends. he wore us out with non stop crazy tracks and all that he is well known for! julia and i were melting away but couldn't stop dancing.
after that i made my way to see markus and i really enjoyed his set. he played a lot of electro and the hope stage was just going off! ran into gpc and leah and palled around with them much of the night. i was really glad i got to see and dance to markus's set b/c his set at avalon was much different. i totally dug his GV set!
once i made the rounds again and saw even more people and made tons of new friends it was back to vip to get more drinks and as i was waiting in line i noticed that they had a slushee machine with Stoli blue!!!  so i made a deal with the guy in line with me, save my spot and i'll go get us some. mmmmm, they were so good.
then it was off to get my spot for digweed. i have never seen him before and was looking forward to it and i was not disappointed! man, he blew me away. literally. i couldn't stop dancing and i just went crazy every other track. there were tons of TA's and we kept dancing and dancing. tried to find kazell b/c he and i texted each other for each others location but didn't find him until the end of the night by the ferris wheel. wish i coulda seen his set at the mayan, oh well another time. so much fun dancing with julia for most of digweeds set and tigo and liverpoolken as well as bas, bunny, and tons more. at one point, julia and i looked at each other and we were like " i'm completely sober!" we had danced off our entire buzz but we were still having a blast and dancing our asses off!
made it back over to the hope stage to dance to lawrences set and he had that place going crazy! i gave him shit again about jOOf rubbing off on him and he laughed his ass off. met back up with michelle and kris and off to the after party.
let me just say that i never thought i would hate a djs set more than tabners but the guy that was on before markus made my ears hurt!!!!! it was like grinding metal over a one level sound bit that went on for an hour. i almost left! but then markus came on and everything was right again with the world. the bar opened at 6 am and i managed to get more hammered than i was at GV but had tons of fun. it was a trip meeting sharam from deep dish and laugh at michelle's face when we heard say hello not once but twice!
finished the night out at the mezzaine dancing with hot brazilian guys while the sun was beating down on us! thanks josh for the help on the name game, i suck at it, and kris, i had such a great time with you at the after party! went to dj faded's house and sobered up before heading home to the pool.
all in all one of the best nights. thanks to kris b for hanging with me too! sorry i yelled at you to make me breakfast but i was sooooo hungry  btw, faded can cook a mean breakfast burrito!
