And just because you have lived there for 4 yrs doesn't mean you know the scene. I have lived there my whole life, minus the last yr and a 1/2. I know there are people there that want the scene to develop...some are good friends of mine. But other then a few hundred people at most liking the music, you have country and top 40 fans.
The thing is you need to start small and not bring someone everyone can go and see 3-4 times a yr. Also, in Kingston you aren't going to have a venue big enough for Tiesto, even if you did get him...I am sure he is REALLY pricy, so ticket prices would be a little crazy as I don't know a venue that would allow you to hold the event that holds more then what, 1200-1500 people (Stages). That would mean you would need to have ticket prices at $125 or maybe $100 just to cover Tiesto's bill. You still need to pay the venue....
If you can get Tiesto, awesome, but I think in a place like Kingston it will be hard as they have no prior reputation in the scene for referrals or guarantees of profit
