Martin, like I told you this was THE best set I heard from you. It reminded me so much of Lawler (but harder), but with tracks I couldn't ID hehe.

Moshic was AWESOME. Progtrance + Proghouse = WOW. Played some hard at times, and then mixed those middle eastern melodies he's known for (check out his album Salamat!). Anyway, thank you for inviting him, I knew he would tear up the place.

A record number of sketch people at Aria though!

And depending on if you live at CFB Kingston your cost of living is probably very low as well, but even if you weren't cost of living in Kingston isn't that bad. Its only $30 which is cheaper than most nights at Stereo. Most of us on here who post about Stereo have put out probably hundreds and hundreds of dollars clubbing there just this year alone, and have never really complained for the most part. I know I sure as hell have.

Here's my review:

Creator is absolutely insane in the most appealing of ways, I adore him so much and what he brings to the scene is allllllllll from the heart and soul. Martin, your set was exquisite as usual...And the sounds Moshic holds has a verrrryyyyy original, different vibe to it. I wasn't too sure about him when his intro played...and I must be honest, I found that there were some trance-like elements BUT!!! Then I heard some prog elements (nice layering of sounds, that 'rolling' bassline feel) and I got happy hehe..At around 5:30am, I was wondering just how pissed off my friends would be if I didn't show at Stereo, lol. I had no choice, I had to leave. And I looked for you everywhere Martin and couldn't find you So, a BIG thank you for everything, and an especially BIGGER thank you for that little talk we had behind the booth not too long after your set ended...

OMG listen to this: Enjoy and I left Sean Walsh's place and walked to Aria. We were about 5 minutes away from the doors when some bum comes up to us and just starts talking...I tried to change the subject and ignore him and when I did that, he got aggressive and super pissed with me. Val, thank God you were there, I was fkn scared to shit...This bum says to me "I bet what you have in your purse is fkn valuable to you, right? Well I'm sick of being on the streets, and losing everything I have to vbeg for, I want some fkn respect, blah blah blah..." I was soooooooo nervous, my heart started racing

Oh yeah, there was a sweet amount of people at Aria, nicely packed but there were also lotssssssss of people who had consumed way too much and they were scary...But aside from that, I had a sick time Musically, as usual, was amazing!!! Thank you Martin, so happy I came, can't wait to see you Thursday night

Hi, ok so after a little sleep i'm now ok to do my official review of the night. It's basically a copy paste of what I wrote on RM, but I will like to add that it was a pleasure to see Enjoy and Erika come by.

First, big thanks to everybody that came and also big thanks to Aria, and all the staff. The night went very well, from start to finish.

Friday was agreat day, beautiful weather, spent it with Moshic talking about music, Israel, Spirituality, and Montreal... this guy is fantastic. Not only he is an excellent Dj and producer, but he is an amazing guy.

11pm, things are going to get crazy and you feel excitement in the air. And slowly around 12:30, all those great people I like so much start coming in, and already there's a very nice friendly vibe.

I heard so little about Marco G's set, but he is always good, so I have no doubt everything went well. But I was running everywhere at that moment.

As a Dj, RM's are the hardest ones. I am stressed out of my mind, tired, no rest, and want to do my best for this crowd I love so much. So I had really one goal, and it was to make the nicest tranistion possible from Marco G's electro to Moshic very special and unique style of prog. Went I felt I was there, I let Moshic do is magic.

Just little before was a moment that I will never forget. I was working a build-up when Moshic played with me on the other mixer. I was building up intensity in loops while he was adding oriental percussions and voices, typical of Moshic. And we just let that thing roll for a while. it was such an unforgettable moment for me, and so modest from him to do that.

MOSHIC, was unbelievable, unique. It's not a set that you can listen to some tracks, you have to live it entirely. And god was it special. Started smooth and just pick up gradually in intensity... wow. After picking up MV at the hotel, I was back, and finally could listen to the end....Then it hit me hard. I was listening to the most beautiful track I have ever heard in an event. People around me were in shock, a lot of emotion in the air. It was an amazing track, dark and happy at the same moment, and then he added a voice with an incredible intensity just looping it, and I cried. It was that beautiful.

MV was also very, very good, and had people finish the night dancing like beasts. 10 am, 2 encores, lights open, people literally sweeping across the dancefloor, it was a great party.

Finally, The crowd. A great quality crowd, people that really knows how to have fun, everyone in their own way. Smiles all over. Music connaisseurs that understood what moshic was about.

I always said that the beauty of this movement has always been about the crowd, not the star DJ. That's how it's started, that's what we will remember when we will be old. All those nights among friends. And once again, you proved me that I was right.

Big Kisses, thank you. Also big thanks to Euterke for the great visuals. Hope you had as much fun as I did.

Wow I swear I was looking at Val (Enjoy) in sheer shock at what I was hearing...I had no idea what you 2 were doing, it sounded that complex from the dancefloor, a very special moment musically of the night for me as well...Awesomness

OMGGGGGG!!! That has happened to me on 2 occasions also...You just FEEL something different happening when that moment comes...And it's all condensed into 1 bit of precious time that you have with the music...Really is beautiful, in the true sense of the word.

Hehehehe...I read your review Martin and it's so filled with emotion and passion about music...sounds like my reviews of your nights, LOL!!! I love it...Keep going strong my friend, you have a verrrryyyy special place in this scene, not to mention in the HEART of it

i know the feeling martin that happened with me and zabs at tribe when i played with him, i finished it off for him with paul woolford - heart. and he just started rolling on the efx 1000 when i was adding the hipass chrusher on the djm 800. its defnetly a great feel when someone of that calibur shows some respect to the opener and toys around with you.
